About the contest
The year 2021 marked a significant anniversary for Jesuits and Jesuit institutions – the 500th anniversary of the events that led to the conversion of St Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuits. To mark the occasion, we organised a film competition for students at Jesuit universities and colleges, with the theme of the 4 focus areas of the Jesuit mission from 2019 to 2029: Spirituality, Excluded, Youth, Ecology.
The competition will be decided on 31st July 2022 and the films will be presented at the IAJU (International Association of Jesuit Universities) Assembly in Boston on 3rd August 2022.
By the deadline, we received over 60 films from 24 countries!
Key dates

15th March 2022
The participants had to register in order to be able to submit the films.

1st May 2022
The films had to be submitted by that deadline through a special form.

31st July 2022
The winners will be announced and informed.

4th August 2022
The films will be sreened in Boston, USA, during International Association of the Jesuit Universities’ Assembly 2022.
